Synopsis

THE DAY THE EARTH SCREAMS When Starbreaker comes to Earth and easily defeats the Justice League's mightiest members -- Superman, the Flash, and Green Lantern -- the team is plunged into despair. Hawkman inspires the others by suggesting that they re-view the events of the first case that brought them together which they do by means of videotapes in their records library. Batman then deduces that since Starbreaker feeds on the energy of negative emotions such as fear, he can be beaten by harnessing the positive emotional energy of mankind. As the members try to decide how to accomplish this, Sargon the Sorcerer materializes in the satellite headquarters.
